After the loss of a 1954 cabin to the Eaton fire, this project presents not just a reconstruction, but a transformation. Rebuilt in an entirely new style, the residence adopts Tudor Revival language, introducing vintage character that aligns with Altadena’s architectural history and compliments the main structure on the lot which was damaged but not destroyed by the fire. It is being permitted as a like-for-like rebuild. The new design replaces the same square footage of the previous house but has an improved layout as well as the addition of a second-story attached ADU. The result is a home that feels rooted, storied, and appropriate to the historic character of this Altadena Property.
